NoHuskyMCOs – New resource to preserve Medicaid success

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Go to NoHuskyMCOs.org for up to date information on plans to return control of Connecticut’s Medicaid program to private insurance company managed care plans (MCOs). From 1996 through 2011, Connecticut Medicaid was run by MCOs, and it was deeply troubled. The program ended under pressure from advocates, providers, and legislators. Since the MCOs left Connecticut Medicaid, access and quality of care have improved, and the state has saved billions of taxpayer dollars.

NoHuskyMCOs.org has updates, evidence, the history of MCOs in HUSKY, talking points, a slide deck, sign onto a petition to the Governor, and other ways to get your voice heard. We’ll be adding to it regularly. NoHuksyMCOs is sponsored by the CT Health Policy Project.
