CT Healthcare Explained is updating

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

We are taking on the massive project of updating CT Healthcare Explained. We just finished the Workforce chapter, including updated numbers and wages for the broad range of people who provide healthcare. We’ve included trends, shortages, disparities, and changes happening and recommendations for improvement.

We updated Healthcare Costs last month. Hospitals are next.

Connecticut’s healthcare system is deeply confusing. Too often people motivated to advocate for change find themselves frustrated and give up. To help a very talented team decided to build a single, comprehensive source on complex health policy issues that is balanced and accessible to all. CT Healthcare Explained takes no position on health proposals or initiatives.

If you have thoughts on how we can improve, please let us know in the message box at the bottom of each page on the site.

CT Healthcare Explained complements the CT Health Advocacy Toolbox, with everything you need to make change happen. The Advocacy Toolbox is also updated each month.
